Zeeke’s Vision
Zeeke’s bees began has a hobby and slowly has evolved with the vision of supplying local community with treatment free products from the bee hive, and starting this year we will begin to raise our own treatment free bees in hopes of becoming self sustainable and to develop a bee that can overwinter in northern Wisconsin, and is able to handle the varroa mite on there own with out the use of chemicals to control, and high honey production. We believe that the use of chemicals to control the mite is causing long term harm to bees by creating a more resistant mite ( read more in our blog pages)
Remington with Zeeke
How we got the name Zeeke
When Remington was a pup he got this yellow monkey toy and we named it Zeeke. It is his favorite toy in the whole world he has had it for years and takes it every where. Well Remington goes every where with me when I am outside no matter how hot, cold, rain, sun or snow. One day I forgot to take him with me and he was having a fit in the house with Zeeke so the wife brought him out and told me, that Remington needed to go check Zeeke’s Bees. Ever since then when I go to see the bees, I tell him we are going to check Zeeke’s Bees.
